AMP Events media player

Having exhibited at Event Sustainability Live, we put together an on-demand media hub for organiser AMP Events. The goal was to create something through which recorded sessions could be made available for post event viewing that was more coherent than a handful of YouTube links on a web page.

We took it a step further by suggesting content according to viewing trends, allowing users to favourite sessions/speakers and by building the platform dynamically such that AMP Events could add/update content, upload branding and even create entirely new events within the platform.

Searchable sessions

All sessions are searchable by title, topic, track or speaker. Search functionality can be extended to include AI smart matching based on any given text input.

Speaker profiling

Speaker profiles can be attached to sessions - this means a speaker is created once, then can be assigned to multiple sessions without the need to re-create their information. In turn, speakers can have their own archive over time.

Saved content

As users browse, content is saved to their history. Equally, users can save content for return visits or share across their social networks.

Inherit branding

The platform was built to allow for the creation of additional events and their subsequent content. Each event can have its own branding, which any sessions will also then inherit.

Lead generation

Whilst each session inherits the branding of its parent event, suggested content and search results might be from any other AMP events that have been added.

Suggested content

Based purely on viewing habits, we can suggest content to a user without any requirement for text input.

Batch imports

Sessions and speakers can be imported via spreadsheet upload, or individually added / updated by AMP Events.

Create events

The client can also create entirely new events with their own branding / colour palettes then create the on-demand sessions as and when they pass. Existing speakers can be added to new sessions or the client can create new speakers accordingly.

Update content

All content, events and branding is managed by the client such that they have full control over what is and isn't available at any given time.
