Hybrid product launch

We were required to build an event platform that connected on site and online attendees, for a live event to mark the launch of a new financial product.

The event team wanted an immersive, unconventional platform whilst also adhering to the corporation’s uncompromising branding and accessibility guidelines.

Our solution included quizzes, touchscreen planners and a real time arrivals / departures board, each consolidating the activity of attendees in Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK and online.

Onboarding

Restricted to only those with the event code, the online platform collected identifiable information about the attendee in order to collate usage reports for the client.

Personalisation

We stored the attendee's name to their browser then retrieved it to reference them by name and personalise content to make them feel part of the event experience.

Cross platform

Whilst on site attendees were walking through physical spaces, they'd engage in the same quizzes as online attendees by scanning QR codes at the end of each zone. Winners were chosen from entries submitted concurrently across three regions and online.

Real time activity

The departure board refreshed periodically, to instantaneously display the movements of attendees across all global events and the online platform.

Global

Collating check-ins and QR scans across the in person events, we'd also display online logins and completions of tasks as attendees progressed through the event experience.

Responsive

The departure board was displayed on both bespoke LED walls and floor standing TV screens to utilise the tech that was available at each venue.

Interactive

Touchscreen content was developed in accordance with the theme of each zone, including a wealth planner that helped to improve a user's financial planning.

Aggregating

As with all elements of the event, results were aggregated so that a user could see how they fared against submissions from all three regional events and the online platform.

Instantaneous

Results were returned in real time; with every global submission, charts would animate to display the results in that instant.
